My boss is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and I am tasked with searching for good locations to collect diecast. Do any of the Japanese brands have an English site where I can browse their catalog to get an idea of what they will have available?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I can give my Boss a list of what I'd like him to get for me, but I really want to have an idea what I can expect him to be able to find rather than have a list of stuff and be disappointed he couldn't find anything on it.
Also, what cars would you have him get should you be in my shoes. Budget is ~$100, how ever many cars that turns out to purchase.

Tomica has a site in English, but if you wanna look at specific products of the brand, it goes to Japanese again .

If it's Tokyo... a $100 budget is too cruel!

Am I not going to get much for that amount? I figure that should get me 5-6 nice cars, yes?

Yes, definitely no problem. Hahaha! I'm greedy, so I'll need a luggage full of goodies to make the trip worthwhile.

He's going to get them shipped back, so I have to keep that in mind.
I agree, if I were going I would have an extra full-sized suitcase to fill with amazing goodies that I can't get in the US.

I didn't realize how cheap their stuff looked. Yuck.

Damn... Now I'll have to read part 1 as well, just for the sake of it. Japan has one of the busiest Hobby scenes in the world, and it's all so neat that, even if my collecting habits are limited to diecast cars, I can't help but feel like paying a visit to all those model shops.

I'll be paying a visit with an empty suitcase. Haha! One day...
